That, according to the newest information made available by a ABC News/Washington Post poll.

The President’s disapproval rate comes in at 40%, though this figure has peaked well beyond 50% in the past.
The numbers come at a key time for Democratic party nominee Hillary Clinton just 57 days before the general election. Among likely voters, according to ABC News, 80% of Obama approvers support Clinton’s candidacy to replace him.
However, even WaPo is quick to point out that the numbers from their polling suggests metrics higher than in other recent polls. A CNN/ORC poll from just weeks ago revealed a 51% approval rating for the President, while a Fox poll from the end of August put Obama at 54%.
