Rand Paul Doubles Down on Clinton: Dems Taking Money from Him Have a ‘Lot of Explaining to Do’
Whether it has anything to do with 2016 or not, Senator Rand Paul has been rather vocal about his true feelings on President Bill Clinton, referring to him this week as a “sexual predator.” And Paul is not backing down. In an interview with C-SPAN, he stood by what he said and called Democrats hypocrites for backing him.
All this started when Paul turned the “War on Women” attack back on the Democrats by invoking the infamous Monica Lewinsky affair, though he made it clear he doesn’t think this really applies to Hillary Clinton. When asked by C-SPAN about his remarks, Paul doubled down.
“Anybody who wants to take money from Bill Clinton or have a fundraiser has a lot of explaining to do. In fact, I think they should give the money back. If they want to take a position on women’s rights, by all means do, but you can’t and take it from a guy who is using his position of authority to take advantage of women in the workplace.”
