Rand Paul Releases a Really, Truly Bizarre Cartoon Attacking Ted Cruz

If you thought the depths the 2016 campaign would sink to couldn’t possibly get any weirder, oh boy were you wrong.

Rand Paul has a new video out today attacking Ted Cruz for missing a vote to audit the Fed and for his ties to Wall Street. Except it stars two cartoon characters that talk like computers.

The look and feel of the video may seem familiar to anyone who has a strong familiarity with a certain type of YouTube video, from the computerized talking to the mispronunciation of Cruz’s last name to, really, just how weird this whole exercise is.

“The Ted Cruz” is so concerning to these cartoons, they suggest that Paul himself should “audit the Ted.” Har har.
