Reince Priebus ‘Resigned Privately Yesterday’ Before Trump’s Announcement

After all the build up that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus might be on his way out, it finally was announced Friday evening, but Priebus apparently resigned quietly Thursday.

According to Trump’s tweets saying “I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff,” it seemed as if Priebus had been fired. However, according to a source, he offered his resignation Thursday.

Wednesday evening the new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci took to Twitter to seemingly indicate that Priebus was leaking information from the White House. Thursday, the same day that Priebus reportedly resigned, Scaramucci went on CNN to talk about his accusation, saying him and the President knew who the leaker was, and that they were taking actions against them.

“However, when I put out a tweet, I put Reince’s name in a tweet, they make the assumption it’s him because journalists know who the leakers are. So, if Reince wants to explain he’s not a leaker, let him tell you about himself,” Scaramucci said.

The relationship between Scaramucci and Priebus was being described as like Cain and Abel, and it looks like we finally figured out who is Cain and who is Abel.
