Reports from South Korea indicate that North Korea held another missile launch today, though it seems to have failed in the attempt.

Reuters heard from military officials who told them that the North Koreans tried to launch a missile on their eastern coast after a day of pro-military demonstrations in Pyongyang. These parades were held in honor of the rogue nation’s newest ballistic missile series, and also to celebrate the birthday of Kim Il-Sung, the nation’s founder and grandfather of Kim Jong Un.

The South Korean defence ministry released a statement in response to the development, where they said “The North attempted to launch an unidentified missile from near the Sinpo region this morning but it is suspected to have failed.”

American military officials have addressed the incident, confirming the missile exploded almost right away:

The report comes as President Trump made statements denouncing North Korea, which prompted them to make a new series of threats against America.
