Rosie O’Donnell Suffers Heart Attack Last Week, Blogs About The Event

Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell disclosed on her blog that she suffered a serious heart attack last week. She said that the cardiac episode was very serious and had a 99 percent blockage. She writes that she received a stent during angioplasty and is home recovering.

In a post on her blog site, Rosie.com, O’Donnell wrote about her heart attack which she says occurred last Monday.

O’Donnell wrote about her heart attack in verse on her website. She says that, while she was suffering from the attack, she performed an internet search on symptoms and took a Bayer Asprin, but did not immediately call 911.

The following day she went to a cardiologist who told her she suffered from a near fatal attack, a blockage type referred to as the “widow maker.”
