Rush Limbaugh Slams Jay-Z’s Swapping ‘B*tch’ For ‘Mitt,’ Recites ’99 Problems’ Lyrics

On Tuesday afternoon, Rush Limbaugh went after rapper Jay-Z, who performed at a rally for President Barack Obama on Monday. Jay-Z garnered a bit of attention for replacing the word “bitch” with “Mitt” during the song “99 Problems” — and Limbaugh was not pleased.

Remarking that Jay-Z is a “noted rap figure” as well as a “noted Obama bundler,” Limbaugh reminded us that his performance took place at an event for the president of the United States. “Now remember, it is Obama and the Democrats who claimed it’s the Republicans who are conducting a war on women,” Limbaugh said. And here we have “Mr. Z” who so often uses “ho” and “bitches” in his lyrics.

“We don’t know what’s in Mr. Z’s heart,” Limbaugh said — but “he changed the word ‘bitch’ to ‘Mitt.'” (The line was changed to, “I got 99 problems, but Mitt ain’t one.”) Again he emphasized that all of this took place not just anywhere, but at a rally for the president.

Limbaugh then played an excerpt of Jay-Z’s performance, afterwards reciting the lyrics, in case you didn’t catch them the first time.
