Sarah Palin Puts Out New Robocall Supporting Haley After “Nonsense” Affair Allegations
Nikki Haley has been making the news quite a bit lately–and not in a good way. Sarah Palin is looking to change that. Yesterday, Palin rolled out a new recorded robocall supporting the South Carolina GOP gubernatorial hopeful.
Palin’s message comes amid reports of Haley’s extramarital affairs. Just yesterday, Larry Marchant–a lobbyist who had worked for Haley’s primary opponent, South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer--claimed to have had a one-night stand with Haley. Palin disregards them, calling them “nonsense”:
“They come after you with all kinds of made-up nonsense to try to knock you down. Believe me. I’ve been there.”
In yesterday’s radio interview with Columbia’s WVOC, Haley said she would resign if either affairs were proven true.
Palin called on voters to support Haley and make their “own statement against these unfair attacks” and “take back state government.”
