Secret Service Supervisor on Leave over Sexual Assault Allegations

The Secret Service is, yet again, facing scrutiny, this time over a report of a supervisor being put on leave over a female employee’s allegations of assault.

The Washington Post reported last night that senior supervisor Xavier Morales is being investigated over claims that he “made unwanted sexual advances and grabbed” the agent in question.

Morales was her boss, and in statements she provided, the female employee claimed that he professed his love to her and his desire to sleep with her, and at one point “tried to kiss her and grabbed her arms until she resisted.”

Morales has been put on leave.

The Secret Service has recently been scrutinized over an incident in which two agents drove through a bomb investigation and into a White House gate.
