Sen. Bob Corker Strikes Back at ‘Utterly Untruthful’ Trump: ‘#AlertTheDaycareStaff’

Senator Bob Corker and President Donald Trump kicked off Tuesday morning with a war of words.

First, the senator appeared on Good Morning America, and doubled down on his remarks that the White House is like an “adult day care center” and that Trump’s rhetoric could set us on a “path to World War III.”

Trump responded in a pair of tweets, blaming Corker for the Iran Nuclear Deal (though Corker opposed the deal), and declaring that the senator “couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Tennessee”:

Bob Corker, who helped President O give us the bad Iran Deal & couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Tennessee, is now fighting Tax Cuts….

…Corker dropped out of the race in Tennesse when I refused to endorse him, and now is only negative on anything Trump. Look at his record!

And now, because of course this conflict will last eternally, Corker has responded with his own tweet, calling Trump an “utterly untruthful president”:
