‘Shame on Them!’ Limbaugh’s Lawyer Rips DCCC for Defamation on Hannity
Patty Glaser, Rush Limbaugh‘s attorney, joined Sean Hannity tonight to explain why Limbaugh is threatening to sue the DCCC. And Glaser had a few tough words for Democrats, saying they maliciously defamed the conservative radio host.
Limbaugh had made some comments on campus consent policy in which he said, at one point, that “no means yes” in certain situations if you know how to read signals.
But both Limbaugh and Glaser believe the DCCC grossly distorted Limbaugh’s meaning when they used that in a fundraising email.
Glaser was particularly disturbed by how this was done not by some liberal bloggers, but by the campaign arm of House Democrats, elected leaders. She said “Shame on them!” and argued that it’s very easy to prove malice in this particular case.
“It is so damaging, whether it’s Republican or Democrat,” Glaser said. “You’ve got to be more responsible. you can’t maliciously attack people.”
