Sharpton Accepts Fired Trump Adviser’s Apology For Racist, Personal Insults
After Sam Nunberg was fired from Donald Trump‘s campaign after being linked to racist Facebook posts, Reverend Al Sharpton unleashed his characteristic slamming by declaring the posts “as racial as you can get.”
On Monday, the New York Times reported that Sharpton has decided to forgive Nunberg after receiving a letter where he apologized for his musings.
“Trump did the right thing” by firing Mr. Nunberg, and the guy did the right thing to admit he was wrong and apologize,” Sharpton said. “Unlike others who have had accusations, he at least did not deny the gravity of what he did.”
Nunberg initially denied that he ever posted messages where called President Obama a “Pan Arabist Marxist Muslim,” or when he referred to Shaprton’s daughter by using the N-word. After the posts were verified however, Nunberg changed his tune when he reportedly wrote a letter to Sharpton, admitting that his words were “disgusting” and “inexcusable.”
