Spicer: The Default From Some News Outlets on Susan Rice is to ‘Rush to the Defense’ of Obama Admin

During today’s off-camera press gaggle, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer had a few words to say about certain media coverage of the news about alleged Susan Rice unmasking of Trump team officials.
Last night, CNN chief national security correspondent Jim Sciutto — who after many years at ABC News worked as chief of staff and senior advisor to U.S. Ambassador to China Gary Locke during the Obama administration — said that this “appears to be a story largely ginned up, partly as a distraction from this larger investigation.” Don Lemon also said on CNN last night that he won’t “aid and abet” people pushing this “diversion,” and CNN’s Chris Cuomo said this morning it’s “another fake scandal.”
