The Featured Performer at This Year’s White House Correspondents Dinner Will Be…
Joel McHale, host of E!’s The Soup and NBC’s Community, will be hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner this year. It’ll be his first time hosting the big event, following in the footsteps of comics like Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, and Conan O’Brien.
On The Soup, McHale revels in biting and sarcastic commentary about the biggest stories and egos in the media, so speaking in a room full of politicians and press figures shouldn’t be that big of a change for him.
Though if he decides to make his performance a lot more like Community, the press corps better stock up on paintball guns now.
