The Wendy’s Twitter Account is Owning Everyone Today
Wendy’s has differentiated itself in the fast food world with its claim that its beef is “always fresh, never frozen.” So it was pretty much a non-event when at the end of December they Tweeted a photo of their food with the caption “Our beef is way too cool to ever be frozen.”

One troll decided to question Wendy’s on their claim, and it didn’t end well for him. Wendy’s absolutely owned the guy, and he ended up deleting his account. User @NHride wrote, “Your beef is frozen and we all know it. Y’all know we laugh at your slogan ‘fresh, never frozen, right?’ Like you’re really a joke.”
Wendy’s Tweeted back correcting him:
@NHride Sorry to hear you think that! But you’re wrong, we’ve only ever used fresh beef since we were founded in 1969.

But he wasn’t satisfied with that answer. He wrote back, “So you deliver it raw on a hot truck?”
So Wendy’s tried to clue him in:
@NHride Where do you store cold things that aren’t frozen?

Then, he Tweeted back saying “@Wendy’s y’all should give up. @McDonalds got you guys beat with the dope ass breakfast.”
Then, Wendy’s came in with the mic drop.
@NHride You don’t have to bring them into this just because you forgot refrigerators existed for a second there.

Upworthy writer Parker Molloy screen grabbed the entire exchange:

The feud picked up steam, and now people are tweeting at the Wendy’s account, and Wendy’s is continuing to clap back, hard. They’ve been roasting Twitter users (and their competitors, including McDonald’s and Burger King) all day.
