This Exists: Our Favorite Newspaper Ad Ever Effectively Fakes Coincidental Photo Position

It’s a little known fact, but Mediaite has a huge readership contingent of 12-year-old boys. We’re not sure why that is but all of our research seems to agree, after you get through all the political and media-savvy readers, the rest are all boys in their second year of middle school. My guess is that they all really love Chris Matthews clips. Anyway, with that in mind, here’s an image of a clever newspaper ad that’s sure to appeal to that special demographic as well as anyone who may be a 12-year-old boy at heart.

The ad is one of those that pretends to be a real newspaper page, but this one just tickled us pink. This morning, an image of it was burning up Reddit as many thought it was real. It’s actually an ad for some underwear company whose name I’d write here if they drove a big truck of money up to my apartment. Contact me for directions.

Anyway, thank you, whatever ad agency made this. You made many 12-year-olds giggle.
