TLC Issues Statement on Duggars

TLC, the network behind 19 Kids and Counting, issued a statement this afternoon on Josh Duggar‘s admission that he molested several young women when he was a teenager.

Earlier today, we reported that TLC had pulled the show from its schedule. TLC made that news official in its statement on how shocked they were by the revelation:

Effective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting currently from the air. We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time.

There is no word yet on whether TLC will continue with 19 Kids and Counting in the future or if it will be cancelled.
