Trump Advisor Cheers Lewandowski Firing: ‘Ding Dong the Witch is Dead!’

How bad was the blood between fired Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and others within the campaign? Bad enough that one senior Trump advisor and top surrogate took to Twitter to immediately celebrate his ouster.

Trump staffers were reportedly kept in the dark about Lewandowski’s firing, learning about it at the same time reporters did. Michael Caputo responded by taking to Twitter and tweeting the following:

For those who are just now emerging from an 80-year coma, Caputo’s tweet is a reference to The Wizard of Oz, in which the Munchkins cheer the untimely demise of the evil Wicked Witch of the East.
