Trump Campaign Reacts to DNC Speeches: ‘Tonight Was a Sad Night for the Democratic Party’

The Donald Trump campaign tonight issued a lengthy response to the speeches at the DNC tonight in which they declared, “Tonight was a sad night for the Democratic party.”

The statement, written up by senior policy advisor Stephen Miller, says that all of the speakers tonight––which included Joe Biden, Tim Kaine, and President Obama––ignored the real problems facing Americans and showed how disconnected they are.

“Instead of dealing with reality,” the statement says, “they spoke in cheap, petty terms beneath the dignity of a convention.”
