Trump Confident San Bernardino Shooters Were Terrorists: ‘Look at the Names’

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Friday that the San Bernardino massacre was terrorist related, telling reporters to “look at the names.”

“It looks like another case. We’ve got a lot of bad things going on. Radical Islamic terrorism,” Trump said, according to ABC News.

“Take a look. I mean, you look at the names, you look at what’s happened. You tell me,” Trump said, adding he thinks “it was terrorism.”

President Barack Obama and the FBI appear hesitant to label Wednesday’s massacre “terrorism” as the investigation is still ongoing. Thursday, Obama told reporters, “at this stage, we do not yet know why this terrible event occurred. We do know that the two individuals who were killed were equipped with weapons and appeared to have access to additional weaponry at their homes.”

Evidence is mounting that the San Bernardino shooters Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were radicalized; CNN reported Friday that Malik pledged allegiance to ISIS in a Facebook post during the rampage. Investigators also said they are looking at possible ties between Farook and domestic and international extremists.
