Trump Decries WaPo Front Page Story on Sex Misconduct Accuser: ‘Who Would Do This’

President Donald Trump got a look at The Washington Post’s cover story on his sexual misconduct accuser Rachel Crooks, who alleges that the president “forced himself” on her at Trump Tower one day when she was employed in the building as a secretary.

Trump issued a fiery two-part response on Twitter this morning, essentially saying that he couldn’t have done it because there are cameras in the building he, you know, owns.

“A woman I don’t know and, to the best of my knowledge, never met, is on the FRONT PAGE of the Fake News Washington Post saying I kissed her (for two minutes yet) in the lobby of Trump Tower 12 years ago,” he wrote to his 41 million followers.

“Never happened! Who would do this in a public space with live security cameras running? Another False Accusation.”

The president went on to lavish Fox News with praise, as is his wont.

Crooks alleged in the article that Trump “wouldn’t let go of my hand, and then he went right in and started kissing me on the lips,” with the incident occurring outside of her office and not in the lobby of Trump Tower, as the president claims.

In related news, Trump has been accused by more than a dozen women of sexual misconduct in allegations going back decades, these allegations being further highlighted by the infamous Access Hollywood tape, in which he bragged about scenarios that sound eerily familiar to the one painted by Crooks.

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them,” Trump said in the recording. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”
