President Donald Trump slammed Time magazine early Tuesday for what he called “the Worst of All Time” photo choice for a new cover – even as the publication hailed his Israel–Hamas peace deal as a “triumph.”
The cover, released Monday, shows Trump gazing upward, backlit by sunlight, under the headline “His Triumph.” The accompanying story praises the president’s U.S.-brokered peace deal as “a signature achievement” and “a strategic turning point for the Middle East.”
Trump, however, was more fixated on the cover photo itself, complaining that not only had the magazine “disappeared” his hair, but had given him an “extremely small” crown. Taking to Truth Social, he wrote:
Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They “disappeared” my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?

The agreement, signed in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday, secured the release of all remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza and nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, formally ending two years of war that followed the October 2023 Hamas attack.
Trump, who visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Egypt for the signing, hailed it as “the dawn of a new era.”
