Trump Launches New Fight With Lindsey Graham: ‘He Just Can’t Forget His Election Trouncing’

Donald Trump woke up Thursday morning in a fighting mood.

At 6:19 a.m. the President decided to open up a new conflict with South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. Trump blasted Graham for his critical comments regarding the strenuousness of Trump’s denunciation of white nationalists.

Trump suggetsed that Graham must still be smarting from his loss to him in the 2015-16 presidential primaries.

… God, remember those!?

“Publicity seeking Lindsey Graham falsely stated that I said there is moral equivalency between the KKK, neo-Nazis & white supremacists and people like Ms. Heyer. Such a disgusting lie. He just can’t forget his election trouncing. The people of South Carolina will remember!”

Like most Republicans who have chosen to weigh in on the matter, Graham has been tough on Trump for his various equivocations of Nazi violence in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

“These groups seem to believe they have a friend in Donald Trump in the White House. I don’t know why they believe that, but they don’t see me as a friend in the Senate, and I would urge the president to dissuade these groups that he’s their friend.” said Graham on Fox News Sunday. He has also accused Trump’s words of “dividing America.”

If the new feud gets much worse, Graham may need to get another phone.
