Trump Senior Advisor Blatantly Lies About Poll, Claims He’s Winning Florida by 14 Points

Donald Trump senior advisor and social media director Dan Scavino tweeted Wednesday about a new Florida Atlantic University poll showing Trump beating rival Hillary Clinton by a whopping fourteen points.

Probably the most accurate poll* I’ve seen coming out of Florida:@realDonaldTrump 50%
Hillary Clinton 36%

There’s only problem; that’s not remotely what the poll shows. Not even close.

The actual FAU poll shows Clinton beating Trump three points, 46 to 43. FAU polled an equal number of Republicans and Democrats, and the poll also shows Republican Marco Rubio leading his Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy by three points.
