Trump Broadcasts His Military Moves By Tweeting That Missiles ‘Will Be Coming’ to Syria
JUST IN: President Trump: “Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!'” pic.twitter.com/8jut3KHvkF

President Trump got on Twitter today and announced his intention to use military force against the regime in Syria — as well as a warning to Russia against interfering — in a move that seemed to betray his campaign promises to not telegraph his military plans.
For the last few days, Trump has been formulating the U.S. response to Syria after Bashar al-Assad allegedly launched a new chemical weapons attack against his own people. Now Trump has declared an imminent retaliation for the attack, saying also that Russia better not respond by backing their ally.
“Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria,” Trump tweeted. “Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!’ You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

It would appear that Trump is reacting to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who recently warned against any airstrikes in Syria after the attack.
So much for never telegraphing the administration’s military plans.
Watch Morning Joe react to the tweet above.
UPDATE: Trump issued another tweet declaring the relationship with Russia is “worse now than it has ever been”:
Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?
