Two weeks ago, it was #NewTrumpCampaignManager. Last week, we got #BernieHillaryRomComs. This week, we are being treated to #NYPrimaryHipHop.

HuffPost Comedy is now in their sixth week of rolling out timely hashtag suggestions every “Stupor Tuesday,” and this week is all about the primary that is happening at this very moment in the state that gave us Nas, Biggie Smalls, Diddy, and, of course, 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj, which we already went over yesterday. What better way is there to celebrate than by combining the two?

This has already been a banner year for the hip-hop community’s involvement in primary elections. Killer Mike was one of the first people to endorse Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton landed an endorsement from Ja Rule and Waka Flocka Flame, although Lil B publicly jumped ship on her and moved over to Team Sanders. Donald Trump got the support of Chingy but failed to appeal to Mac Miller. Even Ted Cruz got in on the action when his campaign made a rap song about Clinton.
This election makes it clear that America hasn’t seen a civil war so intense since the East Coast vs. West Coast hip-hop rivalry of the 1990s. #RIPBIG
