With the leaders of the world’ biggest economic powers gathered in Germany this week for the G20 Summit, we were given the opportunity to see how they interact with each other in a group setting.
And as they all gathered together, we were given this amazing reaction from German Chancellor Angela Merkel while she was listening to Russian President Vladimir Putin:

Of course, there was reaction on Twitter:

Merkel: “The thing is for Germans this really matters”
Putin: “All Europeans Matter, Angela”

The two leaders have had an icy relationship for some time now. Back in 2007, Putin brought his black labrador to a meeting with Merkel because he knew that Merkel was afraid of dogs. Merkel responded to that by stating that Putin did it to “prove he’s a man” and he’s “afraid of his own weakness.”
Meanwhile, the main event of this summit was the first face-to-face meeting between Putin and President Donald Trump. The meeting was supposed to go only 30 minutes but it didn’t end until after they’d been together for more than two hours.
