Watch This Coach Scream Like an Absolute Lunatic After Pregame Locker Room Speech

Here’s someone who’s taking the term March Madness a bit too literally.

Matthew Driscoll, the head coach for North Florida men’s basketball, gave a pregame speech to his team that was meant to fire them up before taking the court against Florida Gulf Coast University in the Atlantic Sun conference title game. Then, after the team broke down the huddle, Driscoll turned around and screamed to no one in particular.

“LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOO!” He screamed. “LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

The screams were somewhat evocative of the late comic Sam Kinison. Driscoll sounded like an absolute maniac.

And unfortunately for him, the players did not respond to his cries. They lost the game 77-61, missing out on an NCAA Tournament berth in the process.
