WATCH: White House Press Briefing With Sarah Huckabee Sanders LIVE STREAM

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold a briefing today, the first of the new year, to discuss the White House’s latest plans and administrative agenda. The briefing is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM ET.

What is Sanders likely to address today? It depends on what President Donald Trump and his Republican colleagues have decided to pursue in the coming year. Maybe it’s infrastructure. Maybe it’s gutting entitlements. Maybe it’s building that big, beautiful wall along the Mexican border.

There’s also DACA and its role in the pending government shutdown. While Trump is set to meet with congressional leaders from both parties tomorrow, these discussions have already started on the wrong foot, thanks to the president’s triumphant return to Twitter.

He took some time out this morning to slam Democrats for “doing nothing on DACA,” even claiming that “Hispanics” would soon turn on the political party, and begin “falling in love” with both the Republicans and their president.

Sanders will also be forced to defend many of his other morning tweets, including one that seemed to, once again, goad North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, mere weeks before the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics.

Of course, Trump also claimed to have singlehandedly whipped the commercial aviation industry into shape, taking credit for a year in which nobody died on major flights.

This claim has come under scrutiny for a number of reasons, including the fact that nobody can seem to find any evidence of the president being “very strict” to aviation companies and, well, the actuality that there hasn’t been a fatal passenger airline crash in the U.S. since 2009.

In any event, it’s sure to be a good time! Tune in at 2 PM ET.
