Oh what a feelin’ when you’re fallin’ through the ceiling.
A woman in Canada was arrested this week after falling through the ceiling of a convenience store in a failed attempt to evade police — and it was all caught on camera.
According to reports, cops were called to a Reddi Mart because the store owners suspected that a couple of shoppers were using a stolen credit card. Once police arrived, they reportedly tasered a man who resisted arrest while the woman he was with tried to get away through the store’s back room.
She eventually climbed into a ventilation shaft and wound up crawling on the store’s ceiling tiles. Shortly after that, security footage caught her crashing back down into the store, where she was arrested shortly afterwards.
Despite the fall, no one was seriously injured, and the arrested couple are facing charges for using a stolen credit card, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
