We Have Some Bad News for Everyone ‘Moving to Canada’ After Marriage Equality Ruling
If you’re not a supporter of marriage equality in the United States, you’re probably vowing to do what lots of people do when the government does something you don’t like: move to Canada. You’re packing up your long underwear, snow boots, and earflap hats and getting the heck out of Dodge. But unfortunately, if you’re going to Canada to get away from all those icky gay weddings, you’re going to have to find another locale.
Marriage equality has been legal in Canada since 2005. That makes Canada even gayer than us.
So, here are a few people on Twitter who might want to hold off on calling the movers:

Good luck with this, Indecisive McGee.

Not surprisingly, however, most people who have been caught making this mistake have deleted their tweets, backed away from them (“I was joking! We can’t tell jokes anymore? Are jokes banned now instead?”), or made their accounts private, but here is a bunch of screencapped missives that could not escape the pillory:
Sorry, patriots! You’re just going to have to go to Russia or Iran.
