White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has told reporters that President Trump is expected to go to Texas on Tuesday to survey the impact of Hurricane Harvey:

The President tweeted earlier today that he plans to travel to Texas as soon as he can do so “without causing disruption” to hurricane relief efforts:

I will be going to Texas as soon as that trip can be made without causing disruption. The focus must be life and safety.
