‘Wow Blatant Racism’: Hilary Duff and Boyfriend Get an Earful From Twitter Over Costumes (Updated)

Apparently, former Disney starlet and current Younger actress Hilary Duff is dating someone new, a trainer by the name of Jason Walsh, and they made their first public appearance together last week. From the looks of it, it was nothing short of a disaster.

With a lot of attention being placed on the Dakota Access Pipeline protests by Native Americans in North Dakota, as well as the ongoing public conversation of cultural appropriation and racially insensitive costumes at Halloween, it was probably not the best idea for the white couple to go as a sexy Pilgrim and an Indian chief.

It will be interesting to see how Duff responds to the controversy over the wardrobe choice of her and her boyfriend, especially considering that she has been fairly scandal-free over her career so far.
