‘You Are a F*cking Idiot!’ Joy Reid Scolds MAGA Influencer Outside Trump Trial

Supporters of former President Donald Trump once again gathered outside the New York City courthouse where he is standing trial, and the very vocal MAGA base was also on hand to troll the media.

Closing arguments in Trump’s hush money trial wrapped up on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, court was back in session so the jury could receive instructions from Judge Juan Merchan. But outside the courthouse, MAGA influencer Ben Bergquam used the opportunity to hound MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who was there to cover the case:

Bergquam: Joy, just wondering: Do you think people with Trump Derangement Syndrome know they have it?

Reid: You’re an idiot.

Bergquam: And second question–

Reid: You are a fucking idiot.

Bergquam: Did you steal Trump’s haircut or did he steal yours? Cultural appropriation haircut right there! She didn’t like that too much. Joy Reid, everybody. Trump Derangement Syndrome, full swing.

Bergquam was at the courthouse representing Real America’s Voice — an outlet which often pushes MAGA conspiracy theories and boasts the likes of former Trump advisor Steve Bannon.

As the hush money trial wraps up, several MAGA hecklers gathered outside the courthouse to chant obscenities and interrupt Robert De Niro.
