Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume revealed one key reason why Democrats could still beat Donald Trump this November despite recent setbacks.
Over the last month Democrats have faced numerous set backs as they try to maintain control of the White House, including Biden’s poor debate performance and recent resignation leading to confusion over who will be the next nominee.
However, Hume cited a post by the National Review’s Dan McLaughlin who said, “Periodic reminder: even with everything possible going Donald Trump’s way, his favorability with the voting public is double digits underwater & has been continuously for over two years. He has never once been more popular than unpopular in 8 years.”

A poll from Real Clear Politics shows Trump consistently having a 54% on average unfavourability rating with American voters.
Hume agreed with McLaughlin’s assessment by adding, “Which is why the Democrats, despite their current contretemps, could still win this election.”

After announcing he would be stepping out the race, Biden praised and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as donors reportedly flock to her to lead the ticket.
However, Real Clear Politics shows Kamala Harris maintaining similar unfavorable numbers with Trump at 52.3% among voters.
