Nancy Mace Says She’s Looking Forward to Watching ‘Soldiers’ March into Chicago
South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace (R) told Fox News that she’s looking forward to seeing President Donald Trump send soldiers into Chicago.
Trump has indicated that Chicago is the next Democratic-run city on his list for National Guard deployment to clean up crime and illegal immigration. The president has already sent federalized troops into Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
On Saturday, Chicago’s Democratic mayor defied the Trump administration by signing an executive order preventing the city’s police from collaborating with federal agents “on joint law enforcement patrols, arrest operations, or other law enforcement duties including civil immigration enforcement.”
“I hope that President Trump has the resources to send soldiers to Chicago, if that’s what it takes,” Mace said Sunday. “That is one of the most violent cities in America, particularly for the hardest-hit communities there.”
Mace called Democrats “the party of violence.”
They are defending rapists, they’re defending murderers, they’re defending child molesters and pedophiles by keeping those who are committing heinous crimes and who are here illegally right here in the United States. I mean, they’re fighting for the rights of illegals. They’re fighting for the rights of gang members and cartel members.
It’s out of control, it’s insane, and I look forward to watching the videos of soldiers entering Chicago and and getting Chicago safer than it’s ever been, because the mayor certainly is not doing it. Neither is the governor.
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) said Sunday that he’s making “every effort” to stop Trump “from using the military to invade states,” The Washington Post reported.
Pritzker told CBS’s Face the Nation, “I’ve been standing up to Donald Trump, and I’m going to do everything I can to stop him from taking away people’s rights and from using the military to invade states.”
Pritzker’s comments came after Trump attacked him on Truth Social.
“JB Pritzker, the weak and pathetic Governor of Illinois, just said that he doesn’t need help in preventing CRIME. He is CRAZY!!! He better straighten it out, FAST, or we’re coming!” Trump wrote Saturday.
