Republican Gov. Hits Back at Trump Attack Over Fox News Appearance: Know It’s Hard to ‘Keep Up’ at Your ‘Advanced Age’

Republican Governor of New Hampshire Chris Sununu roasted former President Donald Trump for attacking Fox News on Tuesday for having him on.
After Sununu appeared on the Faulkner Focus and called Trump a “coward” for refusing to debate, the former president took to Truth Social and wrote:
Why does Fox keep putting New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu on??? Every time I mention his name at a Rally, they BOOO like crazy. He’s all jacked up on something, but he ran for President, without having the courage to announce, and did really poorly. To have this loser on so much is really bad TV.
“This is the guy that was blaming Nikki Haley for January 6th. When he is off the teleprompter. This is not Donald Trump of 2016. If he is off the teleprompter, he can barely keep a cogent thought,” Sununu said on Fox News, picking up on recent attacks on Trump’s mental fitness.
Trump regularly attacks Fox News programming that is not favorable to him, a long-standing intimidation campaign apparently aimed at purging critics in conservative media.
Sununu, who has endorsed and campaigned with Nikki Haley, hit back on X. The popular New Hampshire governor shared Trump’s screed and wrote, “I suppose it’s tough keeping up with the conversation given your advanced age.”
“Maybe try subtitles next time. Thanks for watching,” concluded Sununu, who slammed Trump’s recent gaffes and mental lapses while on with Fox’s Harris Faulkner.
