Rosie O’Donnell told fans she’s feeling “healthier” and “sleeping better” since her move to Ireland just days before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

O’Donnell recently revealed she fled the U.S. with her youngest child and is currently in the process of applying for Irish citizenship.

The announcement of her move earned some mockery from the president during a White House visit with the Irish prime minister. O’Donnell and Trump’s feud goes back to a heated interview on The View in 2006 and years of trading insults — including Trump insulting O’Donnell on a debate stage when he first ran for president.

“It’s not easy to move to another country, and we really felt as a family this was the safest and best thing for us to do,” O’Donnell said in a TikTok video posted Thursday.

O’Donnell revealed she is set to appear on The Late Late Show with Patrick Kielty on Friday. She said she will not consider moving back to the United States until “it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights” in the country.

“I feel healthier, I’m sleeping better without the stress and anxiety over what was happening politically in the country,” the comedian and actress said.

O’Donnell claimed she knew it would be taxing to live under Trump’s second administration, so she’s “very happy” and “grateful” with her decision to move.

“You know, I’m happy. Clay is happy. I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country,” she said.

O’Donnell called the people of Ireland “welcoming” and “loving.”

“It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say,” she said. “The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming. And I’m very grateful.”
