Sarah Palin Reportedly Under Consideration for Secretary of Veterans Affairs

According to a report from ABC News, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is under consideration by President-elect Donald Trump‘s transition team as a possible Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

If ultimately selected, Palin would be the first woman to hold the post. She would also be the only V.A. Secretary to never serve in the U.S. military. Palin’s son Track Palin served in Iraq as an Army reservist in 2008.

Previous reports indicated that Palin may also be tapped to head the Interior Department.
