Speaker Johnson Says Biden is The Liar After Biden Calls House GOP Liars

Speaker Mike Johnson accused Joe Biden of lying after the president claimed GOP lawmakers are liars for saying he interacted with his son’s foreign business associates.
Biden fielded questions from reporters at the White House on Wednesday when New York Post reporter Steven Nelson inquired about the House GOP’s efforts to impeach him. For months GOP lawmakers have accused Biden of wrongdoing surrounding Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings in Ukraine and China.
Nelson asked Biden if he interacted with his son’s business associates to which he responded, “I’m not going to comment. I did not. And it’s just a bunch of lies! I — they’re lies!”
Johnson sent out a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, in response to Biden’s Wednesday comments, claiming there are over 20 examples of the president interacting with his son’s associates.
“The President just lied again to the American people,” the speaker wrote. “FACT: There are at least 22 examples of Joe Biden speaking with or meeting with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates.”

Back in September the GOP-led House Oversight Committee released a report with 22 examples of Biden’s involvement in what Republicans labeled his “family’s influence peddling schemes.”
Many of the examples cited by the GOP includes information from former Biden business associate Devon Archer, who said the president was used to send “signals” of influence to foreign sources.
