Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sparked a wave of condemnation over the weekend, including from her fellow Republicans, with a cryptic post that suggested a “foreign government or powerful people” might try to kill her.

Greene shared a post about her support for releasing the Epstein files and added another that began, “I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet.”

She continued, “I have full faith in God and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. As a sinner, I am only saved through His grace and mercy. With that said, if something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which foreign government or powerful people would take heinous actions to stop the information from coming out. Not only about this issue, but because of the truth that I have been speaking.”

As if the dogwhistle was not clear enough, she concluded, “The People understand what I’m saying.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) shared Greene’s post on Sunday night and commented, “Why do crazy people keep thinking ‘the Jews’ are trying to kill them?”

RedState writer Bonchie reacted by writing, “Georgia, you need to get this woman out of office. She’s lost her mind.”

Trump ally and fierce critic of Taylor Greene Laura Loomer responded with her typical bombast, adding, “This is what happens when you destroy your family with an affair & you’re having a midlife crisis at 51 years old because nobody takes you seriously anymore. Nobody is trying to kill you, @mtgreenee. Put the alcohol down. If you are suffering from alcoholism, there is help.”
