Trump Projected to Win South Carolina Primary Over Nikki Haley

Donald Trump expectedly walked away victorious on Saturday from the South Carolina GOP primary, beating Nikki Haley, a former two-term governor from the state, according to projections from all three major cable news networks.

CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News each projected a Trump victory only moments after the polls closed at 7 p.m.

Trump spoke to his supporters at a victory rally before Haley had an opportunity to address her voters. He was joined by supporters like Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who was booed by the MAGA crowd, and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) in Columbia, South Carolina.

“There’s never been a spirit like this and I just want to say that I have never seen the Republican Party so unified as it is right now. It’s never been like this,” Trump said.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
