‘So Pathetic!’ Trump Attacks Howard Kurtz for Defending Him Too ‘Weakly’ on Fox: ‘Time to Retire!’

President Donald Trump attacked Fox News host Howard Kurtz on Sunday, not for failing to defend him, he said, but for doing a poor job when defending him.
On Sunday’s Media Buzz from Fox News Channel, Kurtz was joined by contributor and MAGA supporter Ben Domenech and liberal Democratic strategist Leslie Marshall, who debated the pseudo-firing of Mike Waltz as National Security advisor, and got into a fiery argument over Trump’s polling.
Trump wasn’t satisfied with how Kurtz handled things, claiming that Kurtz was defending him, but doing so “weakly.”
During the course of a show, Kurtz will refer to or play sound from other media outlets discussing Trump and his administration, and frequently has guests discuss or debate that coverage as well as the underlying story. But that discussion was not up to snuff for Trump’s taste.
“It is time for Howie Kurtz to retire!” Trump raged. “Every Woke Anchor in the Business, people that no one watched from CNN, MSDNC, and others, are plastered all over his show, with all really negative and fake statements, and then I am weakly ‘defended’ by Howie and his group (although Ben Domenech has been strong!).”
Trump again claimed that Kurtz makes a “case” for him, and again said it wasn’t good enough.
“The case Howie makes for me is so pathetic that it would be a lot better if he didn’t say anything,” Trump said. “Anyway, that’s the way it is!”
