Trump on Cameo? Former President Fielding Requests for Personal ‘Greetings’ on His New Website

Is former President Donald Trump planning to record Cameos?
As part of the rollout of his new official website (flagged by Politico’s Gabby Orr), the former president is fielding requests for personalized greetings from his fans.
“Thank you for your interest in receiving a greeting from Donald J. Trump and Melania Trump for your special occasion,” a section of the website reads. “Please allow up to 6 weeks for processing of your request. Due to the volume of greeting requests President and Mrs. Trump receive, we will not provide status updates. Additionally, please do not re-submit your request. Duplicate requests will supersede original submissions and therefore result in a significant delay in processing.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
Unlike the Cameo service, in which mostly B and C-list celebrities record personal messages for a fee, the former president made no mention of charging for the service. Cameo has become something of a popular landing spot for Trump administration castoffs. But the man himself appears to be setting up his own thing.
While Trump is not currently seeking financial compensation for these greetings, it’s possible he’s simply recording them just for kicks. His penchant for crashing weddings and other big parties at his properties is well-established.
Just this past weekend, the former president delivered a toast for a wedding at Mar-a-Lago — which more or less turned into a rally speech. The remarks he delivered at the nuptials of Jon and Megan Arrigo offer a window into what a personalized greeting from Trump might sound like.
“I get all these flash reports, and they’re telling me about the border, they’re telling me about China, they’re telling me about Iran. How’re we doing with Iran?” Trump said. “We were ready to make a deal, they were ready to do anything, they would have done anything. And this guy goes and drops the sanctions and then he says we’d like to negotiate now.”
After two minutes of mostly ripping into President Joe Biden, Trump finally got around to congratulating the Arrigos.
“You are a great and beautiful couple,” he said.
