Tucker Carlson Wins It All in Thursday Ratings Race, Taking Most Total and Demo Viewers

 

Fox’s Tucker Carlson had another good day on Thursday, winning the top spot among total viewers, as well as in the valuable demographic of viewers age 25-54.

Tucker Carlson Tonight was the most-watched show in cable news Thursday, with 3.18 million total viewers, and was again first in the key demo, with 526,000, according to data from Nielsen. The Rachel Maddow Show was second, with 2.98 million total, and third in the demo, with 414,000. The Five was the third most-watched show of the day, with 2.89 million total viewers, and 338,000 in the demo.

Fox averaged the most viewers in total day, with 1.56 million, and also won the demo, with 244,000. MSNBC was second, with 1.34 million, and was third in the demo, with 171,000. CNN averaged 919,000 total viewers, and was second in the demo, with 210,000.

In prime time, Fox again had most viewers overall, 2.68 million, and the most in the demo, with 438,000. MSNBC was second, with 2.25 million, and 294,000 in the demo. CNN averaged the fewest total viewers in prime time, with 1.33 million, and was second, in the demo, with 316,000.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe was the most-watched in the early morning, with 1.17 million, and was second in the demo, with 168,000. Fox and Friends was second, with 1.11 million total viewers, and topped the demo with 200,000. CNN’s New Day was third, with 501,000 total viewers, and 130,000 in the demo.
