Joe Scarborough Thoroughly Mocks Trump for Insulting Judge Presiding Over Fraud Trial: ‘He’ll Probably Call for His Execution’

Joe Scarborough ridiculed former President Donald Trump for endangering his own legal position with his tantrums against the judge overseeing his civil fraud trial.

Throughout Trump’s appearance at the New York City courtroom, he repeatedly lashed out at Judge Arthur Engoron, who has already found Trump, his family, and his business organization liable for fraud. This largely consisted of Trump calling Engoron a “rogue judge” and a “Trump hater” presiding over his “sham” trial.

As Morning Joe discussed this on Tuesday, Scarborough accused Trump of fueling threats and intimidation against Engoron. He also snarked “I wasn’t in that part of my law school class on judge trials where the professor told you if it’s a judge trial and the judge is determining your future, that it’s best for you to insult him and call him a loser and attack him. It makes no sense.”

“Any other defendant in America in this position really that’s already been found guilty of fraud… You would actually have somebody get on the stand and apologize,” Scarborough said. “But instead, you have Donald Trump, who’s been caught. This is a bank robber that has been caught… He’s already been busted.”

With all of this being said, Scarborough summarized Trump’s conduct as “He’s doing the exact opposite of what he should be doing.”

“He’s continuing to drive his car off the cliff and leave his lawyers in a no-win position,” said Scarborough. “And then, after it’s over, he’ll probably call for the execution of the judge like he called for the execution of General Milley. It is a zero-sum game, and it’s a game he loses every time.”
