ABC’s Stephanopoulos: Comey Compares Trump to a ‘Mob Boss’

ABC released a promo video for the first interview with scorned ex-FBI director James Comey, and it’s shaping up to be a bombshell.

Comey, who sat down with George Stephanopoulos for a 20/20 special set to air Sunday night, is “going to shock the president and his team,” according to a source who spoke to Axios.

The promo video features Stephanopoulos asking Comey a number of questions on big topics the former FBI director has remained mum about since his unceremonious dismissal by President Donald Trump last year.

“How strange is it for you to sit here and compare the president to a mob boss?” Stephanopoulos asks Comey.

Axios reported that their source said the interview will “add more meat to the charges swirling around Trump.”

“Comey answered every question,” Mike Allen reported.

The former FBI director’s book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, is slated for release on Tuesday. He embarks on a whirlwind media tour next week that kicks off with the appearance on ABC Sunday night for a 20/20 special.
