CNN’s Toobin Swipes at Dershowitz Over Reported Dinner with Trump: ‘He Has Picked Sides’

CNN’s Gloria Borger noted during a panel tonight that apparently he’s there, in part, to “talk about the Middle East,” but Russia must’ve come up too.
Jeffrey Toobin, who recently confronted Dershowitz for carrying water for Trump, reiterated what a “surprise” it’s been that he’s become “a deeply outspoken defender of the President.”
There’s been speculation about Dershowitz potentially joining the Trump legal team, which likely won’t happen at this point, though Wolf Blitzer said the President “could certainly use the legal help right now.”
Toobin continued:
“I love Alan Dershowitz, he’s a great mentor of mine. But he’s picked sides here. He has picked sides, and he’s with the President, and you don’t have to eat dinner with someone… He’s there eating dinner.”
