Don Jr. on Cohen Hearing: Dems Trying to ‘Counter-Program’ Kim Summit With ‘Nonsense’ from a Convicted Felon

Donald Trump Jr. tonight spoke with Tucker Carlson and dismissed the Michael Cohen public hearing tomorrow as Democrats trying to counter-program and distract from President Donald Trump‘s historic summit with Kim Jong Un.

The president’s son first spoke with Carlson about tech censorship and free speech, again slamming Instagram, before the Fox host asked about the Cohen testimony.

Trump Jr. first brought up the Vietnam summit and praised the action his father has taken before saying, “For the Democrats to try to counter-program that kind of progress, to try to perhaps somehow distract him with this nonsense by a convicted felon who’s been lying to those same committees? It just goes to show you how much those Democrats really disdain Trump but also America.”

“Who doesn’t want peace in the Korean peninsula?” he asked. “Who doesn’t want to end nuclear proliferation and a dictatorial state? Who doesn’t want that, Tucker? It’s crazy, but they show you that they really hate Trump much more than they like America. Because I get nothing from counter-programming those kind of peace talks with this nonsense that’s been proven with a convicted felon other than they just want Trump to fail even if it means America fails. And that’s a really sad state of affairs, Tucker.”
