Hillary Clinton: ‘I Was On the Way to Winning’ Until Comey and Wikileaks
Hillary Clinton today rather explicitly said that was on the way to winning the election until James Comey and Wikileaks jumped into the fray.
Clinton said at an event with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that of course Vladimir Putin wanted to tank her and help Donald Trump, even suggesting at one point that “if you chart my opponent and his campaign’s statements, they quite coordinated with the goals that that leader who shall remain nameless had.”
She said she certainly takes “personal responsibility” for mistakes during the campaign, but went on to say this:
“I was on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey’s letter on October 28th and Russian Wikileaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me but got scared off.”
